Marawar recently worked on the restoration of two gazebo structures at Lake Bungana in the City of Bayswater which included a full clean and painting works. One gazebo is a single storey structure whilst the main works involve a large two-storey gazebo with staircase.
These works were undertaken by a team of three, including a licensed painter, brush hand and an apprentice, of whom two are of Aboriginal heritage.
By supporting and helping more Aboriginal people into long-term employment, rather than the tokenistic short-term employment that has been common in the industry, we’ve established more Indigenous role models for younger generations.
