This project involved construction of a structure for the 3 storey lift onto the existing building. Works included demolition of existing balustrades, earthworks & compaction for the new lift pit, concrete, hydraulic services relocations, electrical services relocations and installation, structural steel, exotec cladding, insulation, colorbond roofing and gutters, landscaping, painting, access equipment and installation of the new Gen2 elevator.

To minimize onsite disruption to the school the main steel structure for the lift was fully assembled offsite, allowing the structure to be installed in a single crane lift outside of school hours. As works were conducted during school term, it was essential to ensure secure site fencing was installed to ensure sufficient protection whilst works occurred.
